Lone Pine Bus Lines, Inc. has outlined the following policies and procedures for the safety, security, and comfort of our drivers, passengers, and future passengers once you have exited our excellent fleet of coaches.
Gratuities for our team members – Gratuities to your driver are not included. If you feel that your driver helped you to enjoy your trip, we suggest that you enclose the traditional end-of-trip gratuity in a separate envelope and present it to our drivers at the end of the trip. The suggested tipping guide is $5 per day, per person for the driver.
Refund – In order to qualify for a full refund and cancellation of your scheduled trip, the cancellation MUST be made 60 days PRIOR to the departure date. However, in NO event will a refund be given to cancellations made after the notice time mentioned hereto. For the avoidance of doubt, ALL CANCELLATIONS MUST BE PRIOR TO 60 DAYS BEFORE DEPARTURE. There will be a $ 25.00 per person charge for this service. There will be no refund for a “no-show” on the day of the scheduled trip.
Please Note: refunds will be made in the same method payment was submitted to Lone Pine Bus Lines, Inc. Therefore, if you paid by credit card, the refund will be put back on that credit card. There will be absolutely NO exceptions.
Company Cancellation – Lone Pine Bus Lines, Inc. hereby reserves the right to cancel any tour, at its sole discretion concerning the bus, driver, weather, or any unforeseen circumstance out of Lone Pine Bus Lines’ control. If and when possible, Lone Pine Bus Lines tries to avoid changes and cancellations, as we realize the inconvenience to you, our valued customer. We hereby further reserve the right to cancel or refuse service to anyone, group, or customer, at its sole discretion. Any person may be dismissed from a tour at any time by the Tour Escort or Driver should their conduct be problematic or hazardous in any way. No refund will be made, nor will any further responsibility be assumed by Lone Pine Bus Lines, Inc. or its employees, directors, officers, shareholders, unit holders, assigns, heirs, and contractors. However, in the event, Lone Pine Bus Lines, Inc. has to cancel the trip a FULL refund will be made in accordance to our cancellation policy return of payment.
Smoking, Vaping, and Alcoholic Beverage – If and when possible and drive time allows, the driver, at their sole discretion or upon request of the group leader, will make stops at rest areas periodically for restrooms and for the convenience of smokers. However, Lone Pine Bus Lines has a NO SMOKING OR VAPING policy while on board the coach and it is further PROHIBITED by Federal Law. In the event, a passenger violates the non-smoking or vaping policies while we are staying in the hotel(s) or visiting on the trip, it is the sole responsibility of that party for any penalties and/or fines pertaining to not adhering to the rules and regulations therewith the locations, businesses, or motels. In addition, alcoholic beverages are not permitted to be on the coach other than for transport in a sealed leakproof bag stored under the coach in a hard container to prevent leakage on the coach’s floor or other travelers’ luggage. If a passenger smokes, vapes, or possesses an alcoholic beverage on the coach, you will be removed from the coach; and, smoking and vaping clean-up fee of $250.00 will be charged to the card on file with our office until the close-out of the trip.
Coach Cleaning – We thoroughly clean each coach upon arrival back to our lot.
1. Every Lone Pine Bus Lines coach is disinfected before they depart for a trip. You can be assured that the bus that arrives to pick you up has been thoroughly cleaned with an environmentally friendly solution that is EPA-approved, and not diluted or mixed at our facilities. The solution is rated on the EPA K-List that supersedes the current EPA suggestion for elimination of Corona Virus and has no harmful properties. It has received the Green Seal certification. The solution is applied with sprayers to increase coverage to eliminate all pathogens on hard surfaces.
2. We have upgraded all air filters and increased the frequency that we change the air filters on the coach to reduce contamination. Our motor coaches refresh the air on the coach, and combined with the upgraded filters, will reduce stale used air in the coach.
3. Disinfecting wipes are readily available for the Driver & Escort, and hand sanitizers are on board for your use.
4. Should the situation regarding pandemic conditions rise during the year, we are prepared to increase the level of our procedures accordingly.
Fuel Surcharge – In the event of increased fuel cost, Lone Pine Bus Lines, Inc. reserves the right to implement an additional fuel charge on all trips to cover these costs.
